Long Story Short Single Vineyard Chardonnay

White peach and citrus sit at the centre, framed by gentle, well-judged oak. Barrel work adds texture and depth without ever covering the fruit, and the wine finishes clean, long and beautifully balanced.

Whole-bunch pressed and fermented in barrel, predominantly new French oak. Once primary fermentation finished, the barrels were stirred weekly for three months to build texture and mouthfeel. Around 40 percent of the barrels were taken through malolactic fermentation, adding complexity while keeping the primary fruit fresh and clear.
