Long Story Short 26 Maples Chardonnay

Stone fruit and citrus lifted by a subtle oak influence, with a rounded palate and a clean finish.

Whole-bunch pressed and barrel fermented, predominantly new French oak, with a long, cool ferment. Weekly lees stirring at the end of primary fermentation builds complexity and mouthfeel. Around 50 percent malolactic fermentation keeps a thread of fresh primary fruit. Matured ten months in barrel before blending and bottling.
